Launched by Ian Schrager of Studio 54 fame as one of the first boutique hotels, the 19-floor Morgans has 114 rooms that combine contemporary and historical styles. Rooms feature hand-stitched, wool-upholstered furnishings, lavish beds with cotton-rich linens and down comforters, and black-and-white tiled bathrooms. Each room includes a flat-panel TV, awork desk and Wi-Fi (for an additional fee). Guests get free continental breakfast daily and in-room dining is available through room service eacy evening from 5PM-11PM. The hotel also has an on-site fitness center. Parking is available for an additional fee.

Hotel Location:
The Morgans Hotel is located on Madison Avenue, a few blocks from the Empire State Building. If you’re driving to the hotel, LaGuardia Airport is a 20-minute drive, JFK is 30 minutes, and Newark’s airport is 30 minutes away (all times dependent on traffic conditions). Both Madison Avenue and nearby Fifth Avenue offer some of the finest shopping in the world—from Tiffany and Saks to Bloomingdale’s and Bergdorf Goodman. Other famous attractions on Fifth Avenue include the Empire State Building and St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
